• Pre-cut grooves significantly reduce indentation force and specific energy, improving fragmentation efficiency, with diminishing returns beyond 10 mm depth.
• A novel "stress-structure dual control" mechanism and "pre-drilling unloading-alternate stopping" mining scheme are proposed for deep resource extraction.
